Chanchai Likitjitta, a privy councillor and former Supreme Court president, died at Chulalongkorn Hospital at 8.30am Wednesday morning at the age of 70, according to media reports. He first served in the judicial service as an assistant judge and later became a judge at many courts. Chanchai became the 36th president of the Supreme Court in 2005 before his retirement in 2006.
